Foundation Honda takes the wheel at former Motorcars in Cleveland Heights. By Tom Jewell
Cleveland Heights, Ohio, September 12, 2019: As Motorcars Honda marks the end of an era, the acquiring ownership has laid the foundation for a new one.
Officially, that would be Foundation Honda in Cleveland Heights which formally announced the changeover today (Sept. 12), after a nearly 30-year run by the Gile family along Mayfield Road.
Aside from switching the branding and continuing to reduce the environmental footprint at what is considered to be the world’s first “carbon-neutral” dealership, Foundation Automotive Corp. also plans to expand local operations in sales, service and workforce.

Cleveland Heights, OH – Foundation Automotive Corp announced today the purchase of Motorcars Honda located in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. The acquisition will introduce a name change to Foundation Honda effective immediately. The facility is approximately 46,550 square feet including a state of art service area and is the first carbon neutral dealership in the world.

Peter A. Wink is the dealerships General Manager and Managing Partner. Peter is a seasoned automotive professional and plans to grow the store’s professional sales and service teams to maximize the dealerships full potential and exceed customer expectations.

Foundation Automotive Corp. Makes Big Strides in USA with the Acquisition of Five New Dealerships in Texas and North Dakota.
Texas, June 20, 2019: Foundation Automotive Corporation, one of United States’ and Canada’s newest and fastest growing automotive corporations, announced today that they have added five new dealerships to their US presence. Foundation proudly welcomes the Henson Ford, Henson Chevrolet Buick GMC and Henson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, located in Madisonville, Texas, and Kupper Chevrolet and Kupper Subaru, located in Mandan, North Dakota, to its family of dealerships.

Foundation Auto Looks Forward to a Strong 2019 with Canadian Dealerships Exceeding Objectives and US Growth on the Horizon
Calgary, February 7, 2019: Foundation Automotive Corp. (“Foundation Auto”), one of Canada’s newest and fastest growing automotive groups, announced today that early signs of growth with their first two dealership acquisitions have them looking forward to a strong 2019. Both stores are located in Western Canada and since being acquired in the second half of 2018, have shown early and steady improvements.
"When we acquired these stores, back in October and November of 2018, they were not broken stores. They were good stores with room for improvement. Mr. Mounzer has a relentless focus on operational management, along with a strong, proven sales process.
